Clare Sidwell ACII

Clare joined a predecessor of KMS in 1990 and has worked within the KMS reinsurance department since 1994, specialising in collections from and commutations with reinsurers, both in the London market and worldwide. This has involved identifying target reinsurers, meeting with reinsurers, brokers and reinsurers' representatives, responding to the issues raised and ultimately leading to settlement of paid balances or negotiation of commutation settlements if appropriate.

Clare was also involved in the development and implementation of actuarial models for various client reinsurance programmes for the purposes of commutation settlement discussions.

Clare has also been involved in the transfer and management of several of KMS' ongoing clients, including the transfer of certain clients' broking services between brokers to improve the progress of claims round the reinsurer market.
