David Taylor

David is a Senior Manager and integral member of the marketing team at KMS, having 22 years experience within the insurance and reinsurance sectors.  David has recently managed a broad spectrum of projects, ranging from scheme implementation, acquisition due diligence, claims review work, Part VII transfers and general claims management functions.

David joined H. S. Weavers in 1987 as part of their wordings team, moving to the KWELM claims department in 1993 as part of the Treaty team. As Manager of the unit, he implemented significant negotiation and settlement processes whilst leading numerous claim, underwriting and accounting reviews, predominantly in the United States.

Transferring to the KWELM APH claims team as a Manager in 2002, he worked closely with the Claims Director in the department's successful drive to take the KWELM companies from the early stages of run-off through and beyond the bar date process.
